The Islamic Administration in
Kismayo, Distributing Food Aid to More Than 100 Needy Families in the Cities
The regional Islamic administration in Kismayo
distributed food aid, including rice, beans and some other food products to the
families in need in the city on Saturday, August 21, 2010.
Each of the families received 10kg bags of rice
and another 10kg bag of beans. The representative of the
Islamic administration, Sheikh Hassan Yaqoob Ali briefly talked about the aid
and and how they brought the people together in one place to facilitate in
fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan, by giving them food for Iftar.
“I am optimistic that
all the Muslims whether poor or rich living in this region, by Allah’s help,
will have Iftar programmes, and we the Islamic administration of Kismayo will
continue with these kind of events, insh’Allah” Sheikah Hassan Yaqoob Ali told
the gathering of Muslim families in the region.
Sheikh Hassan, may
Allah protect him, further said that the local Muslim Population are not in
need of aid from foreign Kafir crusaders and from the hands of the apostates,
because it is the crusaders and their puppets who have prevented the people from
farming so as to make people depend on them for aid and thereby delaying the
ration people used to give in charity.
“The Muslims in this region
help out each other through Sadaqah (charity), and this also opened a place
where the people would be given iftar and food aid to more than 500 Muslim
families.” Sheikh Hassan further stated.
