The Muslims Of Somalia Celebrated Eid Peacefully This Year
Somalia – The first day of Shawwal 1430H, for the first time
since the withdrawal of the Crusader forces of Ethiopia, the Muslim citizens in
the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu could celebrate Eid in peace. They came in
droves heading for the field secured by the Mujahideen of al Shabaab to perform
the Solat ul'Eid.
The Solat ul'Eid was led by the governor of Banaadir Al Islamiyah wilayah,
Shaykh Ali Muhammad Husain -hafizhahullah-, and acting as the khateeb was Shaykh
Abu Muadz Al Madany -hafizhahullah-.
In the khutbah, he advised the jamaah and greeted all the Muslims in general,
and dedicated specifically to Shaykh Usamah bin Ladin, Shaykh Ayman Az Zhawahiri,
Shaykh Abu Yahya Al Liby, Amirul Mukminin Mullah Muhammad Umar, Shaykh Abu Umar
Al Baghdady leader of Daulah Islam of Iraq, its Defence Minister Abu Hamzah Al
Muhajir, Shaykh Abu Mush'ab Abdul Wadud -hafizhahumullah jami'a-, and the entire
Islamic ummah especially those in East Turkistan and Palestine.
After the khutbah the Mujahideen from the Jaishul Usroh Brigade presented a
military parade demonstration, participated by a force of more than 200
Mujahideen.
The Muslims in Somalia were very happy during the Eid this time, especially with
the various presents given to them by the Mujahideen. |
