    Fake Salafi Refutation

    Al Hukm is Only For Allah

    From the book "Scientific Basis of the Salafi Da`wah" [Al-Usool al 'Ilmiyyah li Da'wati s Salafiyyah,
    publ. By A Daar of Islamic Heritage], Chapter on Tawheed.

    ~ By Shaykh 'Abdur Rahman 'Abdul Khaliq ~

    Believing that Allah alone has the right to legislate for mankind in all aspects of life and Religion. Allah (Subhannah wa Ta'aala) said, (Translation of the Meaning),

    {And Allah Judges, there is none to put back His Judgement...}
    (The Noble Qur'an: Surah 13 Ayah 41)

    And,

    {The decision (al hukm) is only for Allah...}
    (The Noble Qur'an: Surah 6 Ayah 57)

    The right to legislate is for Allah (Subhannah wa Ta'aala) alone. Halaal (permissible) is what Allah made Halaal, Haraam (impermissible) is what Allah made Haraam, the Religion, the Law, the way to follow, the Path and the Faith to embrace, are all for Allah (Ta'aala) alone to decide. There are rulers and kings who consider what Allah made Halaal to be Haraam and what He made Haraam to be Halaal. This is an act of aggression against Allah (Ta'aala) in that they deny Him the right to legislate in His Kingdom and Domain.

    Today, many rulers and kings have transgressed against Allah (Ta'aala) with regards to the right of legislating.

    They have dared to refute the Creator, the King and Ever High, rendering Halaal what He has made Haraam, considering Haraam what He has permitted and referring to other than what He has revealed for Judgement. They sometimes claim that Allah's Law is out-dated for today's needs, or that it does not satisfy needs or justice, equality and freedom or that it does not lead to power and honor. To say that these unjust rulers and kings are Believers is a transgression against Allah (Subhannah wa Ta'aala) and Kufr in Him. Sadly, a majority of people follow their leaders in their misguided rule which is in opposition to what Allah (Ta'aala) has revealed.

    These people pray and fast and claim to be Muslims!

    The Salafi Da'wah is Jihad (struggle) in all that the word 'Jihad' carries of meanings. This Jihad has been established to return the right to legislate to its rightful Owner, to make the Religion Allah's alone, to rid the Ummah (Muslim nation) from the biggest Shirk, to eliminate Kufr that many Muslims have fallen into and to make Allah's Word the highest and the word of Kufr the lowest. This will not happen unless people refer to Allah (Ta'aala) alone for Judgement and legislation according to what He has revealed in His Book and in the Sunnah of His Messenger (salallaahu 'alayhee wa sallam).

    Legislation in Islam must only be derived from the Qur'an, Sunnah and Ijtihad (reaching an opinion that is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah) of scholars. This will lead to what brings about Allah's Pleasure and what is in accordance to His Law. This Jihad also seeks to destroy all Shirk by Da'wah (propagating Islam) and by calling all Muslims to adhere to the Truth.

    This type of Jihad, Da'wah, is an obligation that must be fulfilled because referring to Allah (Subhannah wa Ta'aala) alone for Judgement is one of the basics of the Salafi Belief.
