I say that from the effects of the
deeds of these individuals is that it has confused the thoughts of many
of the youth. As a result some youth have gone astray from the path of
guidance and has begun to follow what those who criticise others (who
have stood in the path of da'wah and have blocked the path of Allah)
draw up for him.
As a result some of those who criticise have caused a great gap between
the youth and the scholars and caused them great misgivings which has
led the youth to stay away from the scholars.
Some of these youth have begun to categorise the people due to what they
hear from these people that so and so is from the Ikhwan because he
talks to or visits or sits with a person from the Ikhwan or that so and
so is from the Surooris or from the sycophants and such.
The amazing thing is that they imagine that in that they are applying
the manhaj of al-jarh wat-ta'deel. In reality, they have adopted in this
[activity] ignorant leaders, who have gone astray and led others astray.
It is upon a Muslim to fear Allah regarding himself and regarding to
those poor souls who are no more than a fourth or a tenth of the learned
