Egyptian MP: Gaza siege crime against humanity
CAIRO, (PIC)-- An Egyptian member of
parliament has described the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip as a "crime against
humanity", charging the Cairo government of being an accomplice in the "crime".
The MP, Hamdin Sabahi, told Quds
Press that the Egyptian government should "amend its position" and open the
Rafah border crossing with Gaza before humanitarian assistance to save the Strip
from a human tragedy.
Sabahi regretted that Egypt was
party to the crime of besieging the Strip for insisting on the closure of the
Rafah terminal.
